My Little Orchid

In the Spring of 2023, we had a Pyramidal Orchid growing in the verge outside our house. So we didn't mow the verge for a few weeks, letting the Orchid florish.

Then one day in June we woke early, hearing a horrible noise. We looked out of the front window, and there were the council workers with their mower, and the whole verge had been decimated!

So I wrote this song.
